It’s September 1966. England have just won the World Cup, the Kray twins rule the East End of London with an iron fist and The Rolling Stones provide the soundtrack to the golden age of the swinging sixties scene.
Anthony Stern, a well known photographer, film maker and associate of Pink Floyd and The Beatles is accompanying The Rolling Stones on a 12 date tour of Britain. The resulting stunning photography provides us with a timeless snapshot into arguably the most iconic and important cultural year of the British 20th century.
This limited of 50 editions print entitled “The Smoking Room” captures a personal and private view of Charlie Watts backstage during this famous time and is an official John Rowlands release which has earned a perfect 100 AuthentiScore™.
